Weekly Report: March 10th to March 14th 2014

Week Objectives 

- Train Faculty members with the new site, still waiting on a set live date
- DNS and IP Address routing from old IP to new IP for the website
- Update Laptop Carts / Clean computers / Run updates
- Handle IT stuff during CAP Faculty Show
- Net Boot Mac Minis

Week Accomplishments/ Hours Worked

- Created Mac Minis with Migration Assistant from Computer Lab iMacs
- Fixed Java Issues
- Managed Audio / Video during Talent Show ( March 12th )
- Organized work area
- Fixed a DNS / IP address issue with our Library System database
- Created a profile for a deployment of new Mac Minis running Mavericks 

- Hours Worked - Monday: 8-5 Wednesday: 12-5 Friday: 8-5 Total Hours: 23 hours (Lunch Break)

Next Week Accomplishments (March 17 - March 21)

- Train Faculty Members on School Website
- Put newly built Mac Minis in Kindergarden classrooms
- Organize Lower School / Middle School closet
- Update Computer Inventory Spreadsheet with new Mac Minis

Key Lessons Learned/ New Skills Acquired

- One man Team isn't easy
- Apple Remote Desktop is a great tool for quick support
- MacServer for deploy Studio
- Learned how to Fix Printer issues
- Without Mistakes, Nothing would be possible
