Weekly Report: March 31st to April 4th 2014

Week Objectives 

- Update Computer Lab computers to run a MAP test for students
- Reboot a network router due to slow connectively
- Create Labels for Cafe POS system devices ; Computer, Monitor
- Create a student account on Computer Lab computers to allow saving feature
- Update iPads to Latest iOS (7.1)

Week Accomplishments/ Hours Worked

- Created Mac Minis with Migration Assistant from Computer Lab iMacs
- Placed Cafe POS computers / Hooked them up
- Assist Teachers with Wifi issues
- Rebooted a Meraki Router
- Created Firewall Layers for new SSID
- Created a SSID for the food services

- Hours Worked - Monday: 8-6 Wednesday: 8-6 Friday: 8-6 Total Hours: 30 hours (Lunch Break)

Next Week Accomplishments (April 7 - April 11)

- Make sure Cafe POS computers are up and running
- Assist faculty member with an issues over the phone or in person
- Xerox Printing Issues
- Create Student Account on computers
- Attend a On-Site Training April 9-10

Key Lessons Learned/ New Skills Acquired

- One man Team isn't easy
- Apple Remote Desktop is a great tool for quick support
- MacServer for deploy Studio
- Learned how to Fix Printer issues
- Without Mistakes, Nothing would be possible
